Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Shopimate, a product of Runwell Systems. By accessing or using Shopimate's website, demo, widget, or API, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Shopimate is an AI-powered sales assistant for Shopify stores. The service includes:

• Chat Widget: An embeddable AI assistant that helps shoppers discover products and complete purchases
• Merchant Dashboard: Tools for configuring the assistant's behavior, brand voice, and analytics
• Demo: A free preview that lets merchants test the assistant with their store's products
• API: Programmatic access for custom integrations

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the entity you represent. Merchants must operate a legitimate Shopify store. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• One account per Shopify store unless otherwise agreed
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You agree not to:

• Use Shopimate to sell prohibited or illegal products
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the AI models or prompts
• Submit malicious input designed to manipulate the AI (prompt injection)
• Use the demo to scrape or harvest product data from stores you do not own
• Exceed rate limits or abuse the API in ways that degrade service for others
• Misrepresent Shopimate's AI responses as human-generated

Shopimate is free during the private launch period. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice before introducing paid plans. Early adopters will receive preferential pricing. When paid plans are introduced:

• Billing is monthly or annual, as selected
• Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

• Your Data: You retain full ownership of your product catalog, brand content, and customer data. We do not claim any rights to your data.
• Conversations: Chat conversations are processed to provide the service. You own the content; we retain a license to process it for service delivery.
• Aggregated Data: We may use anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., average response times, feature usage trends) to improve the service. This data cannot identify you or your customers.

Shopimate's AI assistant generates responses using machine learning models. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate
• The AI may not reflect real-time inventory or pricing changes instantly
• Merchants are responsible for ensuring their product data is accurate
• Shopimate does not guarantee any specific conversion rate or revenue outcome

Runwell Systems owns all rights to the Shopimate platform, including its software, AI models, design, branding, and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service for your store. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform.

• We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible
• Support is available via email at partners@shopimate.app
• Response times vary by plan tier (details provided when paid plans launch)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runwell Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of Shopimate. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Runwell Systems from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

• You may stop using Shopimate and close your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days (you may request an export beforehand)
• Sections on liability, indemnification, and intellectual property survive termination

We may modify these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may close your account.
